CAS, Hua-Ou Aviation Training Centre Inaugurating a New A320 Full Flight Simulator /cas/en/?p=409 Fri, 15 Jun 2018 01:12:49 +0000 /cas/en/?p=409 Beijing, 8th June – A ceremony was held to unveil a new A320 full flight simulator (S57) in Hua-Ou Aviation Training Centre, a joint venture between China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS) and Airbus. Mr. YANG Xiaoming, General Manager of CAS, and Mr. Eric Chen, Chairman of Airbus China attended the ceremony and made a speech.

It is the sixth Airbus full flight simulator in Hua-Ou.

“After entering into service this simulator will train more domestic and international pilots with high quality, meanwhile contribute more to guarantee flight safety of China’s civil aviation. I hope Hua-Ou will operate well with scientific management, to provide customers with best services and high quality training and to bring more social and economic benefits to CAS and Airbus. CAS will support the business development of Hua-Ou as usual, and I also hope Hua-Ou will contribute to Aircraft Support Services of CAS!” said Mr. YANG Xiaoming.

Mr. ZHANG Yu, Deputy Director of Air Transport Division, Department of Flight Standards of CAAC, issuing the simulator certificate to Mr. Herbert DEISS, the General Manager of Hua-Ou.

This A320 full flight simulator is the fourth Airbus A320 simulator in China, which can support A320neo, and is ready for the new UPRT (Upset Recovery Training). It can deliver 6,000 hours a year for both pilot and maintenance engineer training.

Hua-Ou is committed to providing aircraft operators with Airbus standard training courses and customized course for flight crew, maintenance engineers, performance personnel as well as cabin crew. Since the opening in 1997, over 38,000 aviation professionals coming from more than 50 airlines worldwide have been trained, most of which are pilots, maintenance engineers and cabin attendants. Among them, many people are in important positions of domestic civil aviation, contributing a lot to the safe and normal operation of China’s civil aviation. Hua-Ou plays a positive role in China’s civil aviation development. As a key part of Airbus global training and support network, the professional and experienced service in Hua-Ou is widely recognized by Airbus aircraft operators in China.

The 2nd China In-flight Connectivity Peak Forum Was Held in Beijing /cas/en/?p=397 Fri, 08 Jun 2018 05:18:22 +0000 /cas/en/?p=397 On Jun. 1st 2018, 2018 (2nd) China In-flight Connectivity Peak Forum was held under the guidance of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). It was mainly held by China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS), Airborne Public Telecommunications Union, and China Satellite Communications Co., Ltd (CSCC). Ping An Technology Co., Ltd and Blue Focus Connectivity Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd assisted the forum, and it was organized by FTS Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. More than 20 representatives of airlines and about 200 representatives from other stakeholders in the supply-chain took part into the forum. The theme of the forum is ‘the Development and Cooperation of In-flight Satellite Internet Supply Chain’.

Mr. WANG Zhiqing, the deputy director of CAAC, Ms. QI Feng, the deputy director of Radio Management Bureau of MIIT, Mr. YANG Xiaoming, general manager of CAS, and Mr.LI Zhongbao, the board chairman of CSCC delivered speeches in the Forum respectively.

There were some of domestic and foreign stakeholders in the supply chain delivered speeches in the Forum, including China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Qingdao Airlines, Donghai Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, China Satellite Communications, Blue Focus Connectivity, Boeing, Airbus, Lufthansa Technik, FTS Technology etc. With the theme of ‘New Opportunities under In-flight Connectivity between Sky and Ground’, the experts from Air China, Xiamen Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Spring Airlines, Ping An Technology, and FTS Technology deeply discussed the business model, operation, construction, and investment of the In-flight Connectivity during the seminar. During the forum, attendees took the “Satellite Internet simulation flight” and truly experienced the open space interconnection system based on the Ka satellite of Zhong Xing 16.

This year’s forum was not only an industry event of ‘Civil Aviation + Internet’ which aroused jointly discussion among civil aviation related corporations, but also the promotion for new generation of China in-flight Internet. The development of Internet Technology will promote the economy. CASC signed a Strategic Cooperation MOU and Aviation Materials Distributor Agreement with Honeywell /cas/en/?p=393 Fri, 08 Jun 2018 05:17:34 +0000 /cas/en/?p=393 On Jun. 5th 2018, China Aviation Supplies Co., Ltd (CASC), a subsidiary of China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS), has signed a MOU and Aviation Materials Distributor Agreement with Honeywell Aerospace (Honeywell) in Beijing. Mr. JIA Baojun, the board chairman of CAS, and Mr. YANG Xiaoming, the general manager of CAS, attended the signature ceremony. Mr. TAN Kejian, general manager assistant of CAS and general manager of CASC, and Mr. Brian Davis, vice president of Honeywell in Asia Pacific Region, on behalf of both parties to sign the agreement.

According to the agreement, CASC has been ized by Honeywell to be the distributor in China for providing spares support from the whole product line and aviation materials solutions such as fleet campaign and retrofit to airlines. CAS Signs a GTA with Airbus for 30 A330s and 100 A320s Aircraft /cas/en/?p=4 Thu, 29 Oct 2015 05:55:23 +0000 /cas/en/?p=4 On October 29, CAS signed a GTA with Airbus for the purchasing of 30 A330s and 100 A320s aircraft. The 30 A330s were a confirmation of the MOU signed in Paris  last June. CAS President Li Hai and Airbus President & CEO Fabrice Bregier signed the agreement. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and the visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel witnessed the signing of the documents.
